Tullamore Hospital marks International Nurses DayOn Friday, May 12, the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore marked International Nurses Day 2023, the theme of which was Our Nurses Our Future #IND2023 which aimed to highlight the contribution of nurses to the healthcare sector and shine a light on nurses and on a brighter future. In Tullamore Hospital the day was celebrated by all colleagues with a number of special events taking place including nominations for their own Hospital Nightingale Award. Mother and daughter Mary and Vanessa McCabe, from Athlone, are staff nurses working in the Coronary Care Unit in Tullamore Hospital.
