Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party has remained positive ahead of their planned protests on Wednesday despite a police ban. In response to the statement by police Inspector General Japhet Koome announcing the ban, Azimio appeared to taunt the police saying the protests will go on as planned. In his statement, Koome said no protests will be allowed on Wednesday in the interest of averting the loss of lives. However, National Assembly Minority leader Opiyo Wandayi said last Friday after the Saba Saba demos that they had notified the police about Wednesday's follow-up protests. "Once again, we appeal to Kenyans to come out in even bigger numbers and make their voices heard.
