Alberta Health Services is contacting families and staff at a Calgary daycare to warn them that they may have been exposed to an infectious case of tuberculosis. Officials say the case is not a risk to the general public and that there is no ongoing risk to children or staff at the daycare. AHS says it is working with the Medical Officer of Health and pediatric clinicians to do routine followup screening with anyone who may have been exposed. It says it won't release the name of the daycare to protect confidentiality.
