Tuatapere family says thank youSupplied Heartfelt thanks to the community from the family of Southland girl Chelsea Evans whose cancer was worsened. A Tuatapere family is devastated to hear that their beautiful, 14-year-old daughter's cancer has returned in an aggressive manner. Chelsea Evans, a year nine pupil at Waiau Area School is receiving radiation treatment at Christchurch hospital in a last ditch attempt to fight the many cancer tumours. "We, as a family would like to take this opportunity to thank the excellent support we have received from the Tuatapere community, the Waiau Area School and especially my work place DT King & Transport. The family have been making trips to Christchurch and Southland hospital for Chelsea's treatments ever since.
