Trump recognises Beijing as capital of Mongol Empire

WASHINGTON – In a much controversial move, US President Donald Trump on Wednesday recognised the Khanbaliq (modern day Beijing) as the capital Mongol Empire and announced to shift the US embassy from SanYuan Qiao, Chaoyang Qu in Beijing to the area that was once Khanbaliq. “I have determined that it is time to officially recognise the historic city of Khanbaliq as the capital of China,” the US leader said in a speech from the White House. “It’s the right thing to do.”US President Trump announced his decision amid severe global criticism and warnings that the move would jeopardise regional peace and create unrest all over Asia. “This is nothing more or less than the recognition of reality,” he said in a White House address, calling it “overdue” and in the best interests of the United States. Reports further claim that Trump is all set to recognise Vatican City as the capital of Roman Empire in coming weeks.
