The 800-acre property, which boasts four golf courses and a 643-room hotel, is Trump’s largest golf resort. Doral lost 100,000 booked room nights in the wake of the election, according to someone who knows the resort’s business. A spokesperson for the Trump Organization simply said, “We are excited to have been asked to host the 2020 G7 Summit at Trump National Doral. Trump Doral is a world-class facility, with an unrivaled hospitality team and we are honored by this recognition.”The Trump administration selected the Doral resort from a list of about a dozen potential sites, according to Mulvaney.
