Emergency services have been called to the Saddle Rd, after a truck and car collided at 1.50pm on Monday. A main road between Manawatū and Hawke’s Bay is down to one lane after a truck crash near Ashhurst. Emergency services were called to the Saddle Rd, after a truck and a car collided near the Pohangina River bridge at 1.50pm on Monday. The New Zealand Transport Agency reported the crash was blocking one lane and advised motorists to expect delays while contractors worked to clear the road. A police spokeswoman said everybody got out of their vehicles safely and nobody was injured.
