Triumph has created a narrower, more mass-central chassis for 2021 too, which it reckons makes the litre-plus bike “as agile and dynamic to ride as a Street Triple RS”. This gives the Speed Triple 1200 corning ABS and more sophisticated traction control, though wheelie control is tied to the TC. As you’ve probably already noticed, the Speed Triple 1200 has also been given a design makeover, with cleaner lines, thick, angry DRL eyebrows above the main headlights, new lightweight wheels and plenty of carbon fibre accents. The outgoing Speed Triple RS cost around $27k so expect a figure north of that. Interestingly, there’s no mention of any other Speed Triple models, meaning the RS is the only option for now.
