Picture by Sanat Kumar SinhaPlace: Dhanekhali, HooghlyWhat happened: Chaos broke out at a booth at Muidipur Primary School when Hooghly BJP candidate Locket Chatterjee arrived after receiving complaints that Trinamul had been casting votes by proxy since morning. Locket wanted to know why the booth was kept unguarded and an altercation took place when the Trinamul polling agent opposed her. Local Trinamul MLA, Asima Patra, alleged the BJP workers who had entered the booth along with Locket had broken the EVM. Trinamul alleged that the miscreants belonged to the BJP.
