Trent Alexander-Arnold has admitted it's disappointing to not be with the England squad at Euro 2020, but it has 'put a smile' on his face to see how well they've done. The Liverpool star was originally selected for Gareth Southgate's 26-man squad after a lot of debate over whether he would make the team. Alexander-Arnold was kept out of the squad with a thigh injury and he has been undergoing intense rehab as he looks to make sure he is back in time for Liverpool's pre-season. He said: ‘Everyday is a new step, getting better and fitter and going into pre-season good.
