Share TweetBy Jeffrey DamicogA criminal complaint has been filed before the Department of Justice (DOJ) against Trece Martires City Mayor Melandres de Sagun over his alleged involvement in the killing of Vice Mayor Alex Lubigan and his driver last July. The Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) filed the complaint on Thursday against De Sagun and four other respondents. Under the complaint, De Sagun and his co-respondents are accused of murder and frustrated murder over the ambush of Lubigan which also took place in Trece Martires City. The other respondents were identified as Maragondon Municipal Councilor Lawrence “Umbe” Arca, Luis Vasquez Abad Jr., Ariel Fletchetro Paiton, and Rhonel Bersamina.
