'7 to 9 tons' of Civil War gold went missing in the Pennsylvania woods, but it may have already been claimed. FBI says their dig came up empty, but treasure hunters believe they uncovered a legendary gold cache. A 1863 shipment of Union gold was lost in the Elk County backwater of Dents Run, Pennsylvania.
