Fog has rolled back into Auckland Airport, cancelling or delaying about 40 flights. Thick fog continues to blanket city on Friday morning, causing major travel disruption in the air, on the water and on city roads. Fog restrictions were lifted at Auckland Airport just before 7.30am after 25 flights were delayed and cancelled, but reimposed just after 8.40am. Ferry services have been disrupted and Auckland Transport was warning people to expect delays heading to work this morning. Auckland Airport also warned passengers to expect delays and cancellations.
