The Transport Department said members of the public should submit applications three to four weeks before the expiry dates as there may be delays under special work arrangements. Officials said the special work arrangements at the Transport Department will continue until further notice to align with the Government's announcement earlier. Walk-in counter services remained suspended at the Licensing Offices at Admiralty, Cheung Sha Wan, Kwun Tong and Sha Tin, but counter services will continue for applicants with online appointments. All driving test services, both road tests and written tests, and driving test appointment services will continue to be suspended until further notice. However, Vehicle Examination Centres will continue vehicle examination services for vehicles with an appointment from Monday to Friday.
