Police early Thursday arrested Winij Akkarasuwankul, 53, director of Ban Nong Kla School in Moo 7 village in Tambon Khao Wiset. He is charged with killing Ladda Jindakaew, 33. Ladda had taken her son to play football at the school on Monday afternoon and was later found strangled to death in the restroom. Police said a CCTV surveillance camera recorded Winij and Ladda in what appeared to be a close relationship. Police are seeking court permission to detain the director while the investigation continues.
