Timothy Clements, 36, of Rangiora, has been reported missing while walking Te Aroha Track, in the Ashburton Lakes area. Police are searching for a tramper who has gone missing on a Mid-Canterbury track. Timothy Clements, 36, from Rangiora in North Canterbury, began walking on the Te Aroha track toward Lake Emily just off Double Hill Run Rd, in the Ashburton Lakes area on May 18. Officers were notified he was missing about 4.45pm after he did not arrive. "Currently 25 LandSAR volunteers are searching in the area, including two LandSAR dog handlers and a helicopter," she said.
