Harry Clark – broadcaster, author and celebrated winner of the BBC hit series Traitors – revisited his roots in Slough this week with an inspiring mission for local young people. He gave words of encouragement to students at St Bernard's Catholic Grammar School as they take on a charity challenge for the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD). CAFOD’s Big Lent Walk involves participants walking 200km across 40 days to help provide safe water for communities around the world. As such, Big Lent Walk 2026 represents a collective stride towards combating the global water crisis affecting millions of people. “It’s wonderful that they are now taking action and doing their bit to help tackle this global issue.”To sign up for the Big Lent Walk, visit: cafod.org.uk/fundraise/big-lent-walk
