A train has collided with a vehicle at the Corbett Rd railway crossing, in the Waitaki settlement of Hilderthorpe, about 14km north of Oamaru, but emergency services have reported no injuries from the crash. Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fenz) responded to the call at 11.33am but found the car abandoned at the side of the road near the crossing, Fenz spokesperson Brent Dunn said.
