Hollywood's Biggest Turkeys Of 2016: The Films That FloppedAs promised, Universal/Comcast Corp. debuted the first theatrical trailer for The Mummy during tonight's The Walking Dead. As you probably know, this is supposed to be the kick-off movie for what Universal hopes will be an interconnected "classic monsters" universe. If anything, the original Universal monster movies made up the first "connected universe." But the first step is to make sure The Mummy is good and crowd-pleasing popcorn entertainment. The most important thing that Universal can do to ensure the survival of their "classic monsters" cinematic universe is to make sure that The Mummy is a good movie.
