(file photo) A boat that fell of a trailer on Whakatu Dr has blocked traffic for more than two hours. A boat has brought traffic to a halt in Nelson after weighing anchor in the middle of a road. The crash happened on Whakatu Dr near the Annesbrook Roundabout at about 12.20pm on Monday. A police spokesman said traffic was blocked when a boat fell off a trailer and landed in the middle of the road. He said southbound traffic on State Highway 6 to Nelson was still blocked as of 3pm, with crews still working to remove the boat from the road.
