more-inThe Chamber of Trade and Industries and the Aam Aadmi Party’s trade wing will stage a ‘Delhi Vyapar Bandh’ and a massive protest on Tuesday against the ongoing sealing drive ordered by the Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee along with the municipalities. Chamber president Brajesh Gupta said the traders’ association had decided that all markets will remain shut in protest against this ‘unfair’ drive against the city’s traders. The association has decided to hold Delhi Vyapar Bandh on Tuesday,” Mr. Gupta said. He requested the BJP to stop the sealing drive and “illegal collection in name of procurement charges”. The protesters will stage dharnas at six places in the city demanding protection of the interest of traders and a suitable law in their favour.
