The engine and a coach of a toy train travelling downhill derailed near Kurseong on Tuesday, injuring five passengers and the driver. The train, on its way from Darjeeling to Siliguri, jumped tracks around 3.30pm near Mahanadi station. All of them are stable," said an official of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, which runs the toy train services. Sources said the train was negotiating a bend near Mahanadi when the engine and the first coach derailed. Until late on Tuesday evening, railway officials engineers were trying to bring the derailed engine and the coach back on the tracks.
