Arjun Rampal visited the BJP headquarters on Tuesday to explore how he could "extend support" to the party, hours after which a senior leader said the actor could campaign in the five poll-bound states. BJP leaders said another actor, Jackie Shroff, was also likely to come out in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and campaign for the party. I am impressed with the work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and am here to see how I can extend my support," Rampal told reporters after meeting BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya. Vijayvargiya later said Rampal could campaign for the party. Hema and Shatrughan are BJP MPs now.
