Cathy Hemsworth and Jan Clarke have started a new shopping tours company after finding themselves needing a new venture due to Covid-19. Two enterprising Canterbury women adjusting to life after Covid-19 have combined their skills in hospitality and fashion to create a new business. Inspired by the wide range of antiques, clothing and collectables shops in North Canterbury, the pair has started J & C’s ABC Tours, a shopping tours business. “We’ve combined the concept of a guided shopping tour with a masterclass in styling and wardrobe art,’’ she said. “We want to help people regain their confidence and self-esteem.’’Hemsworth said people were surprised at the range and style of the shops and outlets in North Canterbury.
