The rain held off but the cold was there to stay for the Junior Tough Guys and Girls competition. Some were in costume, some were in their school sports uniforms, but all were there in the spirit of taking part. The kids were not there to cross the line first, they were there to see if they could do it. For 12-year-old Anna Wyatt from Carncot School, the day was just about giving the course a go. The day welcomed children of all abilities from confident runners to kids who were out to try something new.
