Despite courting last-minute interest from Bayern Munich, centre-back Dragusin has joined from Genoa in a deal worth around £25million. From that onwards, Radu was always on the radar as one of the players we thought would be a good option for us. ‘I had a good chat to [Technical Director] Johan Lange about it and thought Timo would be a really good fit for us stylistically,’ the Australian explained. ‘After I had a chat to him he’s really motivated, really likes the opportunity Tottenham can give him in terms of where he’s at in his career.
