SHIP BOTTOM, N.J.—A Canadian woman lying on a New Jersey beach on Wednesday was run over by a truck picking up trash. Megan Fabieniak, of Toronto, was hospitalized in stable condition with minor injuries to her arm and leg, said Al Della Fave, a spokesman with the Ocean County prosecutor’s office. Her husband was near the water at the time, and no one else was around when the accident occurred. Fabieniak, 38, was pulled out from under the truck and treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital. The driver was taken to a hospital to submit blood samples for chemical testing and provide a statement, Della Fave said.
