A tornado warning has ended for parts of Southern Ontario but the Greater Toronto Area is still under a severe thunderstorm watch, Environment Canada says. The federal weather agency is warning of strong wind gusts and heavy rain. The storms are caused by a cold front approaching from the west, the agency says, and could cause wind gusts near 100 kilometres an hour. @CBCToronto pic.twitter.com/eNmlIBA4eZ —@Devin_HerouxThe agency warns that strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles.
