Police have arrested a 20-year-old man in the death of his mother, days after her body was found in a plastic bag in downtown Toronto on Monday afternoon. Police found the body of Tien Ly, a 46-year-old Toronto manicurist near Eastern and Berkshire avenues. There were “obvious” signs of trauma to her body, including dismemberment, police said. Homicide investigators earlier said they were seeking the woman’s son, Dallas Ly. On Saturday, police arrested Dallas Ly and charged him with second-degree murder.
