West Dyke Trail will remain open during construction work. A portion of a walkway to the CBC transmission tower area in Steveston is being taken apart this month. Construction is being done on the walkway leading to the CBC/Radio-Canada transmission tower area, near Williams road and West Dyke Trail, until April 22. The West Dyke Trail will still be accessible to the public during the removal process with flaggers on site. Mar confirmed that the CBC AM service at the site will not be shut down.
