A cyclist died in hospital after he was cut off by one car and slammed into another Tuesday afternoon, Toronto police say. Toronto police tweeted that the male cyclist was cut off and then thrown into the back of a parked car. The moving car involved in the collision failed to remain at the scene, police say. The collision happened around 1:30 p.m. on Dupont Street, just west of Christie Street. Dupont Street will remain closed in the area for some time, police say.
