Top city lawyer Assa Nyakundi was arrested yesterday allegedly for shooting dead his 29-year-old son. The DCI is investigating the circumstances under which Nyakundi "accidentally" shot dead his 29-year-old son, at their Muthaiga home. The lawyer told the police that he accidentally pulled the trigger and discharged one bullet that hit his son in the chest. He allegedly pulled the trigger accidentally as he retrieved, killing his son, Joseph Nyakundi, who was in the back seat. "He claimed to have accidentally shot one round from the said firearm hitting his son in the chest.
