Nestlé is about to save us all from sugar comas. The Butterfinger and Kit Kat manufacturer said company researchers have found a way to structure its candy’s sugar differently, making it dissolve faster when eating. Not only will significantly less sugar be needed for production, but there will be no discernible difference in taste. This is great news since more than 50% of milk chocolate is composed of sugar. Nestle said that the new sugar will go into production by 2018, so you’ll still need to watch your candy intake this holiday season.
