It appears New Zealand Rugby will lean on long-time player Tomasi Cama to look after the All Blacks Sevens before the new head coach takes charge. The Fiji Village is reporting Cama has been appointed to a full-time management role with the New Zealand team. Former Hurricanes assistant Clark Laidlaw is the front-runner to replace Sir Gordon Tietjens, but he's in the second season of a three-year contract with London Irish. Cama didn't apply for the head coaching job as he feels he still has a lot to learn as a coach. It's understood an announcement from New Zealand Rugby is imminent.
