Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed said the caretaker government has been buried in Bangladesh and if anyone tries to touch this issue, s/he will be burnt. He made the statement after meeting with Qatari Ambassador to Bangladesh Ahmed Mohamed Al-Dehaimi at the Commerce Ministry auditorium on Sunday. When asked whether the chief justice was being pressurised after the verdict, the minister said: “Many people were embarrassed by the observation made by the chief justice. So, there has been dissatisfaction over the verdict.”“The chief justice himself can expunge the irrelevant comments from the verdict. One needs to create a position before talking like this,” Tofail added.
