The spokesperson for bdnews24.com clarifies: “The handle (@bdnews24) initially used to tweet links to stories or content which did not conform to our editorial standards or ethics. Another popular social media site, Facebook, earlier also verified the news publisher's page with over 8.3 million followers until Sunday.
