MI’s batting line-up, which boasts of attacking players like captain Rohit Sharma, West Indians Elvin Lewis and Kieron Pollard, and seasoned campaigner Suryakumar Yadav, has failed to fire in unison in the first two games. As for the positive side for MI, Suryakumar has been amongst runs and he will again be playing a key role for the team, especially if they lose early wickets. Markande has been relying mostly on googlies as his wicket-taking balls and his overall performance would again be key to MI’s success. Having said that, Markande has lacked adequate support from the other bowlers, especially Pradeep Sangwan and Krunal. The DareDevils, on the other hand, also possess top batsmen, but they too haven’t been able to perform to their potential as yet.
