Vicki McLeod has been remembered as a woman whose inspiration led many of her students to musical success. The Timaru music teacher died on Friday, aged 65, after a battle with cancer. McLeod, described as a mentor who was had a huge impact on the region's music scene, was a music teacher at Craighead Diocesan School for 24 years, and 19 years before that at Timaru Girls' High School.
