Olaide Oyelude, KatsinaA 35-year-old man, Babangida Ibrahim, who escaped with handcuffs from a policeman in Katsina State three years ago, has been re-arrested. Ibrahim of Tudu village in the Kurfi Local Government Area of the state escaped from the officer in 2016, but he was re-arrested on January 11, 2019, at Batagarawa. The police said Ibrahim confessed during interrogation that he escaped from the policeman when he was being taken to his house for a search. The handcuffs were valued at N10,000. The four men, who are still at large, are Lawal Fati, Bello Kunduga, Kabiru and Gwarzo.
