Tunji Bosun, AbeokutaThe Independent National Electoral Commission on Thursday pasted the name of Senator Buruji Kashamu as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state for the March 2, 2019 governorship election. Few hours before INEC released the names of the successful governorship candidates in the state, both Kashamu and a member of House of Representatives, Oladipupo Adebutu, had embarked on a ward-to-ward tour to woo voters. As soon as the news filtered into the town that INEC had pasted Kashamu’s name, some loyalists of Kashamu went into jubilation.
