KOTA KINABALU: Three teenagers on a school camping trip drowned while trekking at a manmade stream at a resort off Membakut, some 90km from here, on Saturday. The boys have been identified as Hafiz Hamizan Rahman, Daniel Norman (both 16) and Khuzaimi Zakaran, 17. It is learnt that the three were part of a larger group comprising teachers and students trekking along the stream. They had strayed slightly away from the group when they slipped and fell into a deeper part of the water. The boys were part of a group of students taking part in a camping trip at the Lake Eco Resort in Membakut.
