The fatal fire at the five-storey factory building of Tampaco Foils broke out early on Saturday after a boiler exploded. The Gazipur administration has formed a five-member body headed by an additional district magistrate. Fire Service and Civil Defence's Director Anis Mahmud said they have also launched an investigation headed by Deputy Director Md Badiuzzaman. A third probe has been launched by the government's Factory Inspection Department. Its Director General Syed Ahammed said a three-member committee headed by Deputy Director General Md Shamsuzamman Bhuiyan has been tasked to probe the incident.
