The coast guard said 380,000 tablets were found from the boat coming from Myanmar during a raid early on Saturday. A statement by its Eastern Zone Chief Commander M Nuruzzaman Sheikh said the raid was conducted on a tip-off. "The coast guard team signaled the boat to stop, but it headed towards the shore. It said the estimated market value of the seized yaba was around Tk 190 million and that no arrests were made. Yaba is also entering Northeast Indian states from Myanmar in ever larger quantities and some of that is making its way into northeastern Bangladesh.
