The journalists of Rajshahi staged a demo after three of them were harassed by vendorsAfterwards, numerous journalists of the districts staged a demonstration in front of the market and Boalia police station protesting the incidentAt least three photojournalists have been harassed by some vendors--who opened their shops disregarding the government directives-- for taking photographs of their shops in Saheb Bazar area of Rajshahi. Sensing an altercation, the other two journalists went to rescue their mate, when they were too got harassed by the accused vendor. Afterwards, numerous journalists of the districts staged a demonstration in front of the market and Boalia police station protesting the incident. “The vendors locked into an altercation with the journalists and when they attacked them locals rushed in to rescue them,” said Shahin Khan, one of the protesting journalists. Boalia Police OC Nibaran Chandra Barman said: “All legal actions will be taken against the vendors after filing of a case.”
