The accused have been identified as Akash (22) from Kadinamkulam, Jithin (22) from Kazhakuttam and Akshay (19) from Mullakkal junction in Alappuzha. ProbeThe three were nabbed following an investigation launched by the City shadow police into a chain-snatching incident near the Kunnumpuram Siva Temple in Akkulam Road on Friday afternoon. According to the police, the three of them have been involved in cases of motorcycle lifting in Kadakkavoor, near KIMS Hospital, and other places. They used to stick fake registration numbers on these motorcycles and used them to carry out chain-snatching and mobile theft.
