NewsThree people were killed after a car veered off the road, crashed into a motorbike and ran over two women before crashing into a wall at Gonawala, Teldeniya this morning. The accident occurred due to the driver of the car falling asleep at the wheel, police added. The motorcyclist and the two women who were run over by the car, were rushed to Teldeniya Hospital, but succumed to their injuries. The driver of the car and another passenger were also injured and are being treated at the Teldeniya Hospital. Meanwhile, on Sunday (8), two people were also killed at Teldeniya when a bus veered off the road and plunged down a precipise.
