NewsOrnella Iresha De Silva,a former Director of Gowers Corporate Services (Private) Limited owned by MP Namal Rajapaksa, was granted bail by the Colombo High Court a short while ago. She had earlier been arrested by detectives from the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport this morning. Ms De Silva was wanted in connection with a money laundering case. An international warrant had earlier been issued for her arrest as she was allegedly absconding and in hiding overseas.
