Police have launched a manhunt after a 35-year-old police constable was shot at the Masilo Satellite Police Station in Theunissen, Free State. Police spokesperson Captain Stephen Thakeng said the constable was shot by three men, who entered the police station wearing balaclavas, on Wednesday afternoon. "They started to fire shots towards the on-duty police officer, who sustained a gunshot wound in her stomach. Thakeng said anyone with information can call their nearest police station or they can call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111. "All received information will be treated as confidential, and callers may opt to remain anonymous," said Thakeng.
