Ms Wink, a German, largely learnt English through teaching at the centre and interacting with children and parents. She is pictured with three generations of a family who have used the centre: Shona Tourell (left), daughter Zoe Parmenter, holding her son Hunter (1), accompanied by siblings Charlotte (left, 3) and Sophie (5).
