HIGH POINT – Steelcase and Ikea have both made Forbes Magazine’s latest Best Employers for Women list. Forbes surveyed 50,000 Americans – 30,000 women and 20,000 men – working for businesses with at least 1,000 workers. Steelcase was the leading furniture manufacturer on the list, leading the entire ‘engineering and manufacturing’ designation and placing 13th overall. “We are honored to be included on this year’s list of best places to work for women, alongside so many other great organizations.”Ikea came in at 189. Steelcase, Sherwin-Williams and Ikea also placed highly on Forbes’ list of best places to work for recent graduates.
